Carnately Lodge is a Offical NITB 4 Star raeted Boutique Style Bed and Breakfast establishment 1/2 mile outside Ballycastle. The premises has unrivalled views of the stunning Antrim Countryside.
Carnately Lodge has four luxurious bedrooms and luscious bathrooms which set the scene for the perfect long lazy weekend break or midweek stay to discover the fascinating countryside, the Glens of Antrim, Giant's Causeway, Bushmills Distillery, Rathlin Island. Or to explore the whole outstanding Northern Ireland Coastline. Carnately offers single, double, triple and family rooms. All rooms are en-suite except for the Family room which has its own private bathroom suite.
Activity holidays can also be arranged such as diving, walking, fishing,pony trekking etc. Also Carnately has a Drying Room outside the main building to dry wet clothes and equippment used during activities.
Carnately Lodge is only a few minutes drive or taxi ride from Ballycastle town centre where you can relax in the Central Wine Bar,one of the best restaurants in Northern Ireland.
Enjoy breakfast from a range of local excellent award winning produce. Our marmalade is made in the premises.Yoghurts are hand made and additive free. Local free range eggs can be served scrambled with local fresh smoked salmon.Or try a hearty cooked breakfast which comes with produce from local butchers and bakers. For our European friends a Continental choice can be offered.
If you want a quiet relaxing location with ample secure parking away from the hustle and bustle of traffic and town life then Carnately Lodge is the ideal location. Also Ballycastle town centre is easy accessed(it is only approx 1 mile away). From Ballycastle one can get the short Ferry trip over to Rathlin Island or travel onwards to the numerous sight seeing venues around North Antrim and the Glens of Antrim. At Carnately Lodge we try to be as helpful as we can and are willing to go that extra step for our guests.
